The department operates three Advanced Life Support (ALS) transporting rescues; Rescue's 1, 2 and 4. Rescue 1 is located at Station 1 on Broadway, Rescue 2 is located at Station 2 on Bullocks Point Avenue and Rescue 4 is located at Station 4 on Wampanoag Trail. Each Rescue Company is staffed with two Firefighters trained as EMT-Cardiac Technicians.

Per Standard Operating Procedure's for dispatching, the closest Engine or Ladder Company responds along with the Rescue on all medical related incidents. Each Engine and Ladder Company is a certified ALS unit, equipped with an Automatic External Defibrillator and Advanced Life Support cardiac medications. All companies carry a Nextel cell phone for communicating with the area hospitals.
